David's Mission
My passion is empowering students for a safe and responsible driving journey in today's challenging world. I prioritize safety, offering personalized, student-centered instruction. By creating a positive learning environment, I establish a calm and safe space that goes beyond just passing a test, but enables students to grow at their own pace. As a member of the Bee Safe team, my goal is to instill lifelong driving skills and values, ensuring all of our students navigate the roads confidently and responsibly for years to come.
Karen
As a homeschooling mom of six, Karen discovered her passion for teaching early on. When her youngest kids transitioned to public school, she continued to share that passion by becoming a substitute teacher in their school district.
Karen also spent time driving for Lyft and Uber in the bustling city of Boston, sharpening her driving skills along the way. After successfully teaching her two oldest kids to drive, word got around—and soon others were asking for her help behind the wheel, too!
Now, with formal training from Bee Safe Driving School and a Bachelor’s degree from UMass Dartmouth, Karen combines real-world experience with professional instruction. Her calm, encouraging style makes her a fantastic addition to our team.

With over two decades devoted to education, David's journey began as a band director, inspiring a passion for music in numerous students. Transitioning to the role of executive director of a music academy, he played a crucial part in nurturing musicians of all ages.
Now, David brings his expertise to Bee Safe Driving School in Simpsonville, where he tackles the vital task of training young drivers to safely navigate the roads responsibly. Join us today for an exciting and responsible ride with David!
Mark
My name is Mark Kuzmich, and I bring over 26 years of law enforcement experience to Bee Safe Driving School in Simpsonville. Before moving to Greenville, South Carolina, I served as a Deputy Sheriff in California, where I spent the final years of my career as the lead driving instructor for the Sheriff’s Office. In that role, I specialized in teaching Deputies how to operate vehicles safely during high-speed pursuits and emergency response situations.
After retiring and relocating to the Greenville area two years ago, I’ve been enjoying the slower pace of life that South Carolina offers. At the same time, I remain passionate about promoting safe and responsible driving. I’m excited to take the skills and knowledge I’ve developed over my career and pass them on to new drivers. My goal is to help students not only become confident behind the wheel but also to develop habits that will keep them safe for a lifetime.
